Ray Cicetti, LCSW

As a psychotherapist, my aim is to help clients resolve their concerns and symptoms in a setting that is safe, comfortable and respectful.

Symptoms are what Stephen Gilligan, PhD calls “terrible gifts;” terrible because they can be disturbing, but nonetheless gifts because they can lead a person toward change through greater awareness. This awareness also opens the door to new and better ways of relating to old problems.

I feel that symptoms are often signs that a person’s old way of coping is no longer Find Calmworking and that new strategies are necessary. The discovery of these strategies begins by my helping clients recognize their own inherent gifts and strengths. This allows clients to be better able to live a more joyful and awakened life; individually and in their relationships with others and with their community.
